Rhino 3D for Jewellery Design

Hungry Creek is an authorised Rhino Training centre. Learn to use this industry standard CAD program to design jewellery and prepare for printing the final 3D model using Rapid Prototyping.  This course has been designed by jewellers for jewellers. Computers and software supplied for the duration of the course.

Weekend Jewellery Part 1

An introduction to the fundamental skills of jewellery making, sawing, soldering, filing and shaping. Students will complete simple rings, earrings etc. All tools and some materials are provided. Silver can be purchased from the tutor.

Weekend Jewellery Part 2

This workshop is for students that have attended the part 1 class and want to continue with their jewellery work or start on something a little more challenging. All tools and some materials provided. Silver can be purchased from the tutor.
You must be able to attend both parts of the course. Please ensure payments for both courses are made by the start of the second-weekend workshop.

Beginners Evening Jewellery

Ceramics Evening Workshops

Intro to Ceramics For beginners and intermediates. Hand building and wheel work (with support for more advanced techniques). Learn pinching, coiling, slabbing, assemblage, throwing and turning, surface treatment, under glazing and glazing, bisque firing and glaze firing. Includes constructive critique. Initial introductory materials supplied.Tutor will advise on further materials.

Ceramics Intermediate

For Intermediates, a continuation on from the Intro course. Ceramics Weekend Workshop

This weekend workshop is designed as an introduction to working with clay – for total beginners. Students will learn a variety of hand building techniques, with decorative techniques up to bisque.
